POSEY SCHOOL MINI SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE 2026 SCHEDULE

Ages 6-9

Meets Monday – Thursday | 12:30pm – 3:30pm

A joyful introduction to classical ballet and performance! Our Mini Intensive is designed for younger dancers to build confidence, coordination, and a love of dance in a fun, supportive environment

MINI INTENSIVE WEEKS & BALLET THEMES:
July 27-30 | Week 1: Firebird
A high-energy week inspired by the magical Firebird! Dancers explore big jumps, strong poses, and expressive movement, building confidence and imagination through storytelling.

Aug 3-6 | Week 2: Les Sylphides
A dreamy, lyrical ballet week focusing on soft arms, graceful movement, and musicality. Perfect for developing coordination, balance, and classical elegance.

Aug 10-14 | Week 3: Coppélia
A playful and fun ballet full of character acting, mime, and storytelling. Dancers learn to express emotions through movement while strengthening classical technique.

Aug 17-21 | Week 4: The Nutcracker
A favorite for young dancers! This week focuses on performance skills, character roles, and ensemble dancing, helping dancers feel confident on stage.
